Shoot the Moon

10:09 p.m.

When I started this journey in January, I knew I wanted to attempt a photo of the moon. I crouched behind a tripod in single digits, shivering in silvery light, only to be disappointed with the lackluster result. For some unknown reason, I failed to take a shot when I could stand alone with crickets and fireflies and delicious humidity. Unbelievably, this year is coming to an end, and so, it is with fret that I shot this.

I still have December. In the meantime, our moon walk recital:

I see the moon
the moon sees me.
God bless the moon
God bless me.

Larger Than Life

It was already a quirky POV, so just for the helluvit I made it even more eccentric.

I appreciate your patience as I am going through a creative lull here. Our little point-and-shoot camera was fatally overwhelmed by the unfortunate Death By Toddler method last month, and I have found myself being more protective of my DSLR, which means I have less to work with when I'm not documenting the stuff we're doing away from the house.

That said, like all things in life, this project has its ebbs and flows, and I am ever grateful to those of you who are sticking it through my ebbs. Posted by Picasa
